Description

"I just got back from New York where I was working on a new mural in the East Village. The name of the mural is “Vivi La Revolucion” which is named such as it’s a portrait of my daughter Vivienne, so obviously a play on “Viva La Revolution.” The mural was created as an urge for peace and a willingness to rise above our more destructive tendencies. The location of the wall is directly across from an elementary school and the content contains imagery that kids can relate to, but I also think that anyone can relate to the innocence and idealism of youth. Most prejudices are learned and then need to be unlearned."
