About
Rook & Raven Gallery was founded in 2010 by Richard Grindy and Rachelle Lunnon, to encourage alternative artistic practice, forming a bridge between commercial and progressive art forms from both emerging and established international artists.
Rook & Raven is a gallery, publisher of fine art prints and books, and creative portal situated in the heart of London’s Fitzrovia district. As an extension of the Gallery’s exhibition portfolio, and through collaborative ties to various creative industries and outside curators, Rook & Raven has evolved the standard art space into an innovative nucleus that aims to advance the remit of visual expression.
Rook & Raven, based in Fitzrovia, central London, represents a carefully selected programme of UK based and international contemporary artists, focusing on original and editioned artworks across a wide field of media.
The innovative programme focuses on presenting a stable of artists who engage with identity in a contemporary setting. Taking note of the globalised viewpoints of our international client base, we offer a wide-reaching discussion with artists from Africa, Near East, United States, China and Europe. Our central London location and unique exhibition programme has a firm focus on painting and sculpture.
We have programmed a group of acclaimed emerging artists that have critical rigor, and are considered by their peers to be at the top of their game. We aim to promote the artists globally with extensive travel and through a close network of spaces, galleries, collectors and institutions that we have built up over the years.
Running alongside the gallery’s exhibition programme, collaborations with various creative industries and outside curators, Rook & Raven has developed the standard art space into an innovative nucleus that aims to advance the remit of visual culture.
